Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Too late, probably.

I felt inappropriately touched on the internet and had to close the window. And I will hug many people happily.

sarameg, I'm so sorry. It's so hard.

Frank, what a wonderful thing that your mom is happy and getting the care she needs when she needs it. I hope you are all able to enjoy the lessening of stress with her move.

I thought the hug site was cute! Virtual hugs!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse! Don't go to that place on the internet!

Shit.

Too late, probably.

It was too late! That place was terrifying!!

Erin, let me recommend never buying jeans that are at all loose, unless you really want them that way, because they always loosen up as you wear them. Just saying.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

OMG, I had to have the antivax convo in the first fifteen minutes of my road trip. I did pretty well, so she had to pull out the "Well, you don't have any kids" card. headdesk.

Yes, because clearly you don't care about anyone who might possibly get infected by way of her kids. Only if you have kids do you have a right to care about public health.

And having kids makes you lose your mind, obviously.

I was about to post this on Facebook, but realized too many relatives: I just walked home with my stockings in my purse for the first time in a loooong time. I got a massage after work and it's warm out, so why not.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

S says ON jeans shrink about 1/8" when washed, so they should be perfect. And they're not loose, loose; just comfortable. Not like "I can fit into size 12's if I don't eat or move or breathe" -- I just...fit.

Haven't worn a size 12 since...1985?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

that site was NOT terrifying, but also not the Nicest place, because I am not there and ergo something something.

the wine is helping somewhat. I should probably go watch a CM though, my one true feel better remedy.

OK, so I am hoping to have internet at home by Friday. And that I'm capable of setting it up myself, which I think I am. I think I still need a router, though. Crap.

In great news, one of the local library branches is less than a mile from my house! And it has a neon "OPEN" sign, which just makes me laugh. It's kind of cheerful.

Aaaand, they just announced closing in 17 minutes. I hate it when people dawdle when a place is closing, so I will leave in a couple.

I miss the internet. Or, I miss it on something bigger than my phone.
