Also can they be dried in a dryer? Even someone who line dries most of the time (not saying that is your sister) will get into a hurry on occasion and want to use a dryer.
Also, the 7X7 bag will useless most of the time - so in practice you are paying 6 bucks for 4 bags not 5.
Jess: If your friend is putting produce directly in normal reusable bags, which don't get washed very often, the bags are gradually accumulating nasty micro-organisms and transferring them to unprotected food put in the bags. Either food in reusable bags should be protected either by disposable or frequently washed bags, or the resusable bags should themselves be washed frequently.
How dirty are these things getting? I would imagine just rinsing them in the kitchen sink.
Edit: Ah ha! Cross-responded. And my friend just free-balls her produce.
Kitchen sink would work but then they have dry in time for the next use. And still needs to be done after every use or close to it I saw a study recently because they are used for raw food, reusable bags accumulate bacteria and fungi and so on long before there is visible dirty or odor. They are unsanitary long before they are dirty.
:::::::::::grabs all reusable bags and loads into washing machine!!:::::::::::
My sister free bags it, but it's incredibly unwieldy, and limits the amount of product she can do so with. I mean, mushrooms? That's gross. Grapes? Also nasty. Plus, in Jamaica, they weigh the produce and price it before the checkout, so if you don't pay full attention, they end up trying to sneak everything into a bag with a price on the bag, instead of rolling around in her bag with the price label on just one of the item.
As for washing, it's Jamaica. Hand washing and line drying are still as viable options as machine and machine.
I feel I should wash my bags tool
Then I think those look great.
askye, I'm so sorry. You did everything you could. I'm glad Will was able to come be with you and that he could take care of the burial.
Not going to think about my bags. Immunity building!
Got everything I needed to get today. I now have jeans that won't fall down.
Query...
What's the nerdiest thing you've done lately?
For myself it's puzzling over how the Hobbit economy works. Clearly there's a class system and Bilbo is some sort of landed gentry and Samwise is a gardener and then...I just don't see how it works. They're supposed to be all of-the-earth and tending and whatlike, so why are there basically Squires? Do they make a shit ton of money by exporting pipeweed? Do they weave or do something craftsy? How does it work?
Do they make a shit ton of money by exporting pipe weed?
Exactly. The Shire is a Narco-State, like just like present-day Mexico.
