Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

(I really like butter dishes--I don't know what's up with that)

This is me and carafes or pitchers. I would be a creepy hoarder given money, storage and opportunity. Mmmmm, glass containers for beverages.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't get it, why do you need five butter dishes?

I could have different butters...

But mostly I just really like their form and enjoy looking at them. Having my eyes slide from dish to dish is very pleasing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Pitchers. Specifically, white cream pitchers.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My mom had a lot of high windows in her last house. So she collected colored glass jugs and pitchers. They were very pretty when the sun shined through them.

hip deep in pie

I'm up waiting for a technician to come check my internet. But it's zippy again, so I am wondering if they did something remotely. But they haven't let me know they aren't coming....

Hmph. Try this one? [link] I just wanted to point out the actual URL. (And I edited the last post, so it should work now.)

Okay, the links along the bottom of the screen might be the funniest part of the whole thing.

So she collected colored glass jugs and pitchers. They were very pretty when the sun shined through them.

I had two glass walls bare in my last apartment, walling off one side of my strange glass cell, and I considered shelves with apothecary bottles lining them, for privacy's sake, but not losing light, and then I remembered it was earthquake country, and I wouldn't have that architectural feature forever anyway, and what would I do with the plethora of bottles then? Still, I was in love with the idea for a good while.

In semi-related news, I bought jam yesterday. Well, preserves. Nom.
