When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Pitchers. Specifically, white cream pitchers.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My mom had a lot of high windows in her last house. So she collected colored glass jugs and pitchers. They were very pretty when the sun shined through them.

hip deep in pie

I'm up waiting for a technician to come check my internet. But it's zippy again, so I am wondering if they did something remotely. But they haven't let me know they aren't coming....

Hmph. Try this one? [link] I just wanted to point out the actual URL. (And I edited the last post, so it should work now.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, the links along the bottom of the screen might be the funniest part of the whole thing.

So she collected colored glass jugs and pitchers. They were very pretty when the sun shined through them.

I had two glass walls bare in my last apartment, walling off one side of my strange glass cell, and I considered shelves with apothecary bottles lining them, for privacy's sake, but not losing light, and then I remembered it was earthquake country, and I wouldn't have that architectural feature forever anyway, and what would I do with the plethora of bottles then? Still, I was in love with the idea for a good while.

Because books.

In semi-related news, I bought jam yesterday. Well, preserves. Nom.

Compassionately intolerant

There is a brand of bouillon cube that is both vegan and gluten-free, called Not Chik'n,

I am super psyched to try this. I have been using Pacific broth, but I'd rather not use all that aseptic packaging. Not to mention suffering fewer creatures to die for me.

Woot. I really do learn all the best stuff here.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'll admit I'm fond of a good butter dish myself, but I think if you use it regularly you need at least two so you can swap out the dirty for a clean one immediately and don't need to wait to wash it.

Dang y'all, posting about which deaths you remember? On Thanksgiving no less! I find that amusing somehow. I could never forget John Lennon's death, mostly because I, like many of my friends, wore black the next day and we had a test in history class but the teacher rescheduled it since we were all in mourning. I remember the moon landings because my mom would wake us up so we could watch them. We had a huge map of the moon on the wall, and my mom would put a pin in to mark where they had landed. Challenger I remember vividly. And I remember the Nixon impeachment quite well.
