Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is this actual maturity setting in?

I know you must be aiming this question at someone other than me...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had sweet potato biscuits for breakfast. Mmmmm.

I keep a to-do list in my work notebook, and personal to-do items on scraps of paper in my purse. Analog AND inefficient!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

HAHAHAH! Perhaps. But it's kind of gratifying to delete without responding. Or to delete instead of letting it sit in my inbox while I research data to respond.

ita, did you get the leftovers?

One kind of cool thing about kids is that I can hold my hand out and they will always hold it. At least so far. I think that will change soon, but I am currently enjoying it.

I can't remember who it would have been, but once I was on the street with some fairly big little kid, maybe a five year old? Anyway, we got to the curb and I just stuck out my hand, and the kid just took it, and I kind of melted. Whatever kid that was. Good times.

Because books.

Is this actual maturity setting in?

I find it's usually exhaustion, with me.

I love cold pumpkin pie for breakfast, but all the pie is at my mom's, and we forget to bring some home.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Breakfast here was a jalapeño spinach omelet, courtesy of last nights creamed spinach with jalapeño peppers (the Laurie Colwin recipe). Nom nom nom. Perhaps tomorrow there will be turkey hash.

Polgara said she'll get them to me today. Thanks for the feeding!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Have no pie. Had no pie last night, either.(Had parve seven layer cake as dessert)

Later we will pack and head to Darkovercon.
