Most of my eye shadows are some variation on taupe because I find actual color a bit jarring. But thanks to Aromaleigh I have some truly gorgeous, sparkly taupes that make me happy.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Mine are taupe because I just do eye shadow to make my eyes look more deeply set. So it's skin tone and shadow.
However I look through what I have and there's a disturbing amount of blue that I can't justify in any way.
I have a million different shadows (or had), although no blue. But the only colors that really work on me, or that don't make me think HOOKER! DOING BLOW! are taupes and browns and some purples.
Am I semanticing it up?
My reading of the two terms jibes with yours. When I hear conspiracy theory, that implies that the views are being dismissed.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
Perkins,
when do you take possession?
Happy Thanksgiving, Buffistae! We're in the middle of cooking & cleaning up a storm for S's parents and a small crowd of otherwise-thanksgivingless fencing friends: a smallish turkey, a ridic beautiful pork rib roast, cornbread dressing, beans, cranberries, and approximately every root vegetable on earth. Fun times will be had.
Happy Thanksgiving! I have to start cooking the turkey. Must get motivated to leave bed.
Yeah, Pix! We are eating breakfast in the hotel then going back upstairs to watch the parade. We watched Pangs last night, may do West Wing today. Anyone else have traditional Thanksgivig episodes that are awesome?
When I hear 'conspiracy theorist,' the implication to me is that the person is likely to skew or cherry-pick evidence to fit a theory. When I hear 'skeptic,' I'm more likely to assume that the person is waiting for more evidence to come in.
