The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Perkins,

when do you take possession?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Happy Thanksgiving, Buffistae! We're in the middle of cooking & cleaning up a storm for S's parents and a small crowd of otherwise-thanksgivingless fencing friends: a smallish turkey, a ridic beautiful pork rib roast, cornbread dressing, beans, cranberries, and approximately every root vegetable on earth. Fun times will be had.

The status is NOT quo.

Happy Thanksgiving! I have to start cooking the turkey. Must get motivated to leave bed.

Yeah, Pix! We are eating breakfast in the hotel then going back upstairs to watch the parade. We watched Pangs last night, may do West Wing today. Anyone else have traditional Thanksgivig episodes that are awesome?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

When I hear 'conspiracy theorist,' the implication to me is that the person is likely to skew or cherry-pick evidence to fit a theory. When I hear 'skeptic,' I'm more likely to assume that the person is waiting for more evidence to come in.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, I roasted my stuffed turkey on Monday so I could use the cooked meat to make a stew and the stuffing to make dumplings for today, because I am all about dumplings. And this morning I got the stew ingredients all chopped and assembled and the dumpling dough mixed up and chilling in the fridge, almost done. Went to roll the dough into balls and dropped the whole mess on the floor.

The dog is very happy. I am not. But mostly I wanted to let you all know that nobody else needs to drop Thanksgiving dinner on the floor today, I have taken care of that.

I have tons of stuffing, I'll be able to make more dough, dinner is not ruined.
