thought this was a very interesting article about most vital tools to have around the house,
Hmpff. If you don't have a locking-back pocket knife, you're going to need a first-aid kit. WD-40 is first of all a moisture-displacer, but it does leave a lubricating film.
Where is everyone? If you don't post, I have to clean!
I am at work, and there are actually people here. I have a report I need to finish editing.
We got 4 hours off today, except I'm a contractor and I don't officially qualify: I figure I'll slip out around 3 or 4 anyway, and go pick up the turkey I forgot to pick up last night.
Tonight I will make cranberry-ginger-tangerine sauce and a pie.
Presumably we tend to suck the really good looking Canadians into our orbit. I see lots more Dave Foleys than Bruce McCulloughs in the lower 48
Oh sumi, how sad and terrible. His poor family.
But oh! I also wanted to say congratulations to Perkins! Go you!
I am at my sister's house and supposed to be grading while things are still quiet. oops?
Good article on IO9 about why people get sick on planes.
Recycled air? A myth! Dirty surfaces everywhere! A truth! Stay out of the bathroom, wipe down your tray with anti-germ wipes and stay out of that back seat pocket. Also, aisle seats are bad. (People touch them with their hands as they go down the aisle.)
Burrell, insent with a question.
Perkins, did you consider getting a home loan in Greece?
Damn it, missed that chance.
Sumi, I have no words.
Perkins, go you!
Msbelle, I'm glad you found a compromise. I hope it works for all involved.
I am working but have 4 more hours and next to no work. Everyone else seems to have taken today off. Gah.
K-Bug is handling 80% of the T-Day cooking. I'm in charge of dressing and her bf is taking the mashed potatoes. And KCD's wife just called to invite us over to share dessert. Will see if that works with K-Bug's plans, but it was nice to be invited.
And I knew I forgot something...
Amy, clean your house.
Work is getting slightly busy. I suppose it's all the people trying to get stuff done before they all slip out early for the weekend.

Except that the main problem with the air in planes is extreme dryness. It is at around 1% humidity or something absurd like. It make not give you infections diseases but sure as hell can cause respitory misery. A major problem for people who work in the industry, and not great for passengers either.
