A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Because books.

ita, girls with e-readers in black came to the signings with silver Sharpies, and had authors sign them that way.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Actually, that could be kind of cool, if you had a bunch of author signatures on your reader.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm kind of split on that, whether I'd want them all together, or not. I mean, the books aren't tied to the reader, and now the signatures are? Dunno.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I, ideally, keep my books organized. The really important ones have their own shelf. So maybe those are the signatures I'd want but it's a strange mix. And, I'll be honest, I got Nikki Sixx to sign a book but I wouldn't want him to sign a reader that I had for always. I keep nineteen-year-old me and current me apart for a reason. Memory lane is just fun to visit.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Perkins! You bought a HOUSE! (And while doing all this crazy scavenger stuff!) WOWZA!

Kathy, that cut looks cute on you! Yay!

I don't want my reader signed. if I love a book and author, I will buy the damned print book. (Need to send HC version os CK to Amy AFTER Xmas. Maybe in March I'll be up for it.)

I have this visual of ita ! dressed as a cat, eating kale, sending it to her mom, and C. I don't know why, but I do, and it's freakin' hysterical.

Hey, I learned how to edit a video a little bit tonight! I have the basic skills of a 12 year old! WOO!

Cash, that is AWFUL. I am very impressed with your parenting and her response, and the school's response so far. And so sorry you are dealing with this. UGH.

Anyone I forgot in this mini-meara, I am sorry. My brain is fried.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, I learned how to edit a video a little bit tonight!

ME TOO! And it only took me two tries!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Perkins, did you consider getting a home loan in Greece?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Thanks for the compliments! I'm still loving the hair (only got flattened a little bit while sleeping). The challenge will be seeing how I can recreate this look after I dye my hair and wash it tonight or tomorrow morning (got a good half-inch of white hair at the roots).

Oh, and congrats on the house, Perkins!!

And my sympathies for family issues for ita! and msbelle. And cat problems for Sue (ugh!).

Just finished ironing two cross-stitch pieces to take to Michaels after work--one to have framed for my brother and SIL's Xmas present, and one to frame myself for me (since it's a Christmas piece, I'm not going to do anything more than mount it and frame it with a cheap pre-made frame).

not your mom's socks.

Perkins, awesome house! Congratulations!

Kathy - that's a great cut.

Msbelle, wishing you all the things you want for the holiday.

ita ! I'll back Amy up on this one... they install the guilt-talent at the hospital. I checked the bill.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Java Cat called me the other night to tell me to tape the show, although she thought it was just about XF.

That was probably the "crusader" ep.

I understand that the clips are based on who they could get interviews with, but I just do not understand how you spend an entire act on how prevalent nerd culture is on TV now and not cut to Willow saying "Nerds are still in, right?"
