"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, I find that list of good airport food to be controversial.

While I agree with some of the choices, the Coney Island choice at DTW and the inclusion of IN-N-OUT burger makes me wonder about all the other entries I do not know.

For Salt Lake City, it's hard to go wrong with a visit to Wasatch and Squatters brew pubs. That entry is worthy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Perkins, if the numbers work, the house is in good shape, and you really like it? I say grab it!

I'm still daydreaming about one that I've seen twice now. I'm not in the market, but this one has almost everything I want. I could afford it if I won the lottery or got somebody to share it with me.

Dear Universe, I truly appreciate that you gave me exactly what I asked for. But I've changed my mind. I would like a boyfriend after all. I won't go into detail; you know the specs. I trust you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What do you have against In-n-Out, le nubian?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jesse,

I hate their food. I have only been once and it was along Highway 5 in California. But I cannot respect any fast food establishment that ruins french fries the way INO did. Those potatoes were wronged.

The burger was okay, but, in my view, not better than Carl's Junior. And probably not better than Burger King when BK has its act together.

A friend raved about INO and I was just so startled that the food quality was just eh.

We've had In n Out in town for about a year, and the lines at the drive through are still amazingly long. I haven't tried them yet, because everyone I've asked who's eaten there says "Well, it's not bad, but I really just wanted to see what the fuss is about."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Awww, that's too bad le nub. In 'N Out really is better than the other chains you mentioned. Fresh potatoes, fresh ground meat. Real ice cream in the shakes. It's markedly more flavorful. You must've got a bad shift, or lapse in quality control or something.

I've had some bad experiences with I-5 road food myself (food poisoning from BK).

Always Anti-fascist!

I enjoy them, but I think WhataBurger is better. I do enjoy that they will make Neopolitan shakes though Am already tired of my brother saying the GOP will pick Newt as the serious, intellectual choice, but then I don't think my brother understands the degree to which "right-wing intellectual" belongs on the list with "jumbo shrimp" for your correspondent. ETA: Hec, I think BK has got a problem. I've gotten upset from some several times(not full-on *poisoning*, but enough)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Not crazy Perkins. It might take a bit, but you change the yard to almost no work. Meanwhile, get a mow and blow guy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the Coney Island choice at DTW and the inclusion of IN-N-OUT burger makes me wonder about all the other entries I do not know.

Well, Coney Island is supposed to be iconic, right? And In-n-Out is generally considered to be the best thing you're going to get called fast food burger in LA (Pinks, also listed, is the best fast food hot dog). I didn't eat at Versailles in Miami, but their shit looked good, for sure. There was just a lot of stuff that looked good there.

Their burger is *definitely* better than Burger King or Carl's. I don't like their sauce, but the meat is the quality of sit down places, easily.
