I have heard the hairy baby/heartburn connection before. I def. had heartburn worse in the 3rd tri. with each of the two before but this pregnancy it earlier than the others and more severely. I am only at 31 weeks so that's a long time to live.

eta: Dairy (ice cream and my favorite yogurt, which I've never had a problem with), have been among the worst. but the cereal seems to be okay. Maybe it's because it is 1.5% and the others are full fat.

My friend had terrible heartburn for her last trimester pregnant with her twins who, individually, were born with very little hair. BUT there are two of them!

Third trimester you're just so *full* anyway -- there's not a lot of room left for your stomach, so eating just a little bit too much can be bad.
