I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

When my brother brought Absinthe back from Prague we had it the Bohemian way and I got stupid drunk and spilled the absinthe and then we had burning alcohol on the furniture and I just kept laughing and laughing. good times.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't understand cooking bacon anywhere but in the same pan you're going to cook the rest of the meal, so you can use bacon grease as the cooking medium.

Oh yeah, that too -- unless you're a mixed bacon-eating crowd. When I was with friends the other weekend, we cooked the bacon in the oven due to both lack of enough pans and a vegetarian among us.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Two officers involved in the UC Davis pepper spray incident were suspended. Presumably the two doing the pepper spraying though I'm not sure.

What happened to the officer in NYC who sprayed the women in the bullpen area? He lost ten days of vacation.

True confessions -- bacon is often the entirety of what I'm cooking. Sometimes I just want bacon. Well, often I just want bacon; I just don't usually make it.

But I do take your point if there's other food to be cooked.

ETA: That concoction sounds delicious, Jesse.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

True confessions -- bacon is often the entirety of what I'm cooking. Sometimes I just want bacon.

This is often true for me as well. I live alone, and I don't cook that much. Sometimes I'll make an egg, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is delicious! I mean, I figured it would be fine, because how can you go wrong stirring that stuff together and eating it, but I was afraid the texture would be weirder than it is.

Now I'm contemplating making pumpkin cheesecake as my dessert to bring for Thanksgiving. I don't love pumpkin pie, but I could get behind a good pumpkin cheesecake.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Mmm, pumpkin cheesecake. I'm making pumpkin butter in the slow cooker, but it hasn't been on long enough to make the house smell good yet.

I'm going to feel really stupid when someone finally explains the Kindle name problem, right?

Because books.

I'm going to feel really stupid when someone finally explains the Kindle name problem, right?

This is what I'm thinking. I have no clue what the problem is.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I think it's more like kindling ideas. I imagine the fire version wasn't in the works when they named kindle, plus, I have a hard time conceiving the eorld's biggest bookseller and the customers of same are pleased by that suggestion.
