I don't understand cooking bacon anywhere but in the same pan you're going to cook the rest of the meal, so you can use bacon grease as the cooking medium.

You guys, I just made up the most delicious thing, with leftover pumpkin and cream cheese! I didn't want to buy more cream cheese to make a whole cheesecake, but loooove pumpkin cheesecake. I beat it all up with an egg and brown sugar, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon, and baked it. It's like halfway between pudding and cheesecake.

Oh yeah, that too -- unless you're a mixed bacon-eating crowd. When I was with friends the other weekend, we cooked the bacon in the oven due to both lack of enough pans and a vegetarian among us.

Two officers involved in the UC Davis pepper spray incident were suspended. Presumably the two doing the pepper spraying though I'm not sure.
What happened to the officer in NYC who sprayed the women in the bullpen area? He lost ten days of vacation.
