Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

ita !, it's beyond awesome to see you feeling that kind of mastery and joy in what you do. You're way overdue, and it sits well on you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's really impressive, ita. And I'm glad work is more than just clocking in and out for you but a source of satisfaction and growth and intimacy and creativity and pride.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

ita ! Mazel Tov! You did fabulous work and got appreciated and appreciate back. I'm so happy for you. You totally deserve this!

G-D DAMMIT. This means no gumbo for me.

Don't know if this is too late. But if you use Okra that thickens a gumbo nicely. How I always made Gumbo, just because I like okra and less work than roux. Also, something I never knew until checking wiki - some Gumbos are thickened with dried sassafrass leaves.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Filé! Not sure I got the accent right. I used to dump that stuff into everything, so delicious.

Your triumph is so great to read, ita ! Hitting my allergies, a little.

Swouncing

Skipping 4-digits-number-of-posts because I'm grading. Um, I mean, because I'm supposed to be grading, so I have to take a break every now and then, so I got to go over and share this [link]

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, ita! I'm so glad you brought it and we're recognized for it.

What font do you have on your resume?

Garamond, I believe. I probably need to update that, as well as the contents.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nillybaby! And for the record, I say "toddler" starts when they start toddling around (ie, walking), and not before. It's a good thing the former TCBITW is a grown person now, because seriously.

I'm also super happy for, and impressed by, ita !.

And if my resume isn't TNR, it's something close. I am not about design.

hip deep in pie

My old theatre resume was futura, with my name is something even more modern and san serif. My resume now is in Times New Roman, I'm sure. Gov't resumes are no place for imagination.
