"Sleeping in"= woke up at 7. When did I become this person?
Oh yeah, I need to get a laptop bag. But will probably do that through work.
Apparently, starling tv drama is happening outside my kitchen window. There are two fascinated cats meeping on the windowsill.
I am looking at houses for sale and thinking about various ways to make school work here and getting depressed. It just doesn't feel like there's a niche for us in Cincinnati. I never would have thought I'd feel more at home in Georgia than in the place where I was born.
In Facebook WHOA news, a girl I was good friends with in 5th-7th grade now lives in Israel and has 8 children (ages 3-14 or so). Her family was so secular when I knew her that I didn't even realize she was Jewish (and we did have a lot of Jewish classmates, so it's not like I was unfamiliar with the concept).

5 here, but I didn't have to get up and get out of bed at any time before that so I count it as a win?
Grrrr. At ER. No meds yet. Famished and nauseous.
meara,
too late for you now, but here is what I travel with which is good for at least 2-5 days depending on how I pack and the weather.

the above is a great carryon, stable wheels and does handle a lot.
In addition, my "purse" is [link] in small. It holds my laptop, wallet, key cords, a book or two, key papers, etc.
Bring ita meds and food, ER!
I got up and functional at 7 like a normal person, so I guess we're meeting in the middle today?
Hey, how come people use wheeled carryons instead of backpacks? I find my backpack is much easier to wrangle, even having to bear its full weight. Mine is the backpack version of this which appears to be not made anymore, more's the pity. But it's great, fits the bin easily, and holds my laptop and enough clothes for me for any length of trip. But I'm not wearing businesswear and I'm willing to wash things in the sink.
Timelies all!
Am going to try to find the new location of my comic book store. Other than that, quiet day.
I like the wheeled bags for shlepping -- backpacks are a PITA on the subway. Although I have recently learned that the four swiveling wheels kind is also kind of terrible on the bus -- you have to keep it from rolling.
I'm trying to throw away old Playbills, but it is Very Hard! I guess I could keep just the front covers, huh.
Except, seriously, I saw Catherine Keener, Ty Burrell, Dallas Roberts, and Edward Norton in Burn This???
I had an upsetting dream about me being irresponsible with somebody else's dog -- I was letting it sit on my lap while I rode my motorcycle? -- and they were berating me about it afterward while I tried to apologize.
I'm still a little upset over it, especially because I don't have a motorcycle.
