Sarameg, the Tom Bihn Aeronaut is highly recommended by light travel fetishists. I recommend onebag.com or [link]
Bob and I used an Aeronaut each as our sole bag during 3 weeks in Thailand, for what it's worth. It's expensive, though, and the extra strap is also a must. [link]
I think that's the right version. Anyway, insent to ita and Jilli.
That's about the size of my old duffly thing. Which wasn't that much! Drives me nuts I can't find its kind anymore. It was the standard carryon in, oh, 1990? 1985? Held SO MUCH, yet compact.
So this is a slightly out of focus picture of the tangerine lantern. [link] Super fun!
I, too, have heard the love of Tom Bihn--and since they're in Seattle I've contemplated going over to their factory and checking it out (they're open one or two days a week)
I used to use GABA when I was stressed out at work. As did a friend of mine. I can't believe I forgot about it. I ought to get some more. It wasn't Xanax-levels of relaxation, but you know... sometimes a little relaxation is enough.
Hec, thank you!
I am suddenly in a meh mood for no reason. Friends were over earlier today, I've got a bunch of great stuff together to make Bags Of Mystery! for the upcoming Time Travelers' Rummage sale, and there is possibly going to be an interview loop next week for a full-time job. But no, I am meh. Not cool, brain chemicals, not cool.

That's good to know, Zen. I think I'll try it.
