I need a full body heating pad.

Those exist. Heated mattress pad. Worth its weight in GOLD.

Unrelatedly -- Kate! I have to e-mail you back! I will do that this weekend, but the short answer is: YAY! And more or less wide open except for Friday night.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was just flipping through my browser windows and came upon this and could not work out why I would have clicked on that.

Now that I've calmed down, I'm still not entirely sure what I did, what I was thinking, to start loading that and then click away...

He's incredibly ready with the overshare about drunken binges and shit like that.

There's a group from another department that sit near my desk. They're sales, and therefore loud, and I often find their personal conversations shockingly unprofessional. Yes, this is what makes me clutch my pearls, not the sex tape stills I had to look at this morning.

Thanks, brenda. I have consumed yogurt. It tasted fine, but yeah, texture-wise, not my favorite.

Woot! We probably won't be up for much on Friday night anyway; I'm guessing we'll stop somewhere along the way for dinner and then just head to the hotel when we get into Cincinnati. But yay for seeing you sometime Saturday or Sunday!

JZ, thanks so much, but thanks to the tax refund, I just went to Home Despot and spent $140 on wrenches, screw-drivers, socket wrenches, a hammer, a rubber mallet, and a toolbox. That'll do me for now, I hope.

I did get the cheapass tools: I am not so much of a handy person that I need the really good stuff.

I am mildly surprised that the thieves took the toolchest but not the mountain bike. Not that I mind!

D wants to know -- anyone caught the show The Fades on BBC 3? Good? Fun? Don't bother?

My friend's reply to ita's link:

That is the most fantastic thing I've seen in my ENTIRE LIFE!

I feel like my day is complete now.

I am so glad that my random browsing (and getting rather startled!) has contributed to the delight of a complete stranger. Because...seriously, WTF???

I love that you knew precisely who needed to see that, BTW.
