You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

hip deep in pie

I'm not sure about her acting chops, but Aisha Tyler came to mind for Lizzie. Too old? ETA: She's 41. I was going to suggest Gabrielle Union as an younger alternative but she's 38!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I suppose this was inevitable....

Playboy and Virgin Galactic Dream Up Cosmic Men's Space Club

There would be no windows in the zero-gravity dance club, but there would be drinks, served by Playboy bunnies wearing jetpacks. And there would be exterior windows in the private "orbital pleasure dome," so clubgoers could gaze down at Earth during romantic interludes including, you guessed it, sex in space, the writers added.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Dang, I was going to suggest Anika Noni Rose, who trained at San Francisco's ACT, has plenty of classics experience on stage, and did a lovely job breezily snarking the shit out of a highborn fellow who thought much too well of himself in The Princess and the Frog, but she turns 40 this year.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ah, most onerous of onerous tasks done, or done enough. Blew it on the laundry however, and missed out on getting to BevMo. And I can't confirm if my son's bus schedule is going to be screwed up again today. But eh, guess I'll take what I can get and say it's been a pretty good day.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

She played a 15-year-old in "Caroline, or Change," and that was relatively recently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue, Aisha is who the commenter suggested, and Gabrielle was my reaction!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Gabrielle Union as an younger alternative but she's 38!

And, damn. I went looking for Gina Torres info out of idle curiosity (she's 42! holy crap!) and good God, is she made out of 100% awesome. I never knew that she was a mezzo soprano trained in opera and jazz vocals, and that she and Laurence Fishburne got married at the Cloisters. How can one person contain that much spectacular?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It was in the 60s again today. The hyacinths have been sending shoots up for a while, but I haven't seen and flowers yet.
