The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Laura!

Go Holli! I'm so excited for you!

I feel slightly less like death warmed over today, but not by much.

Good luck with the surgery, SuziQ.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

So I was pretty sure my eyes had gone completely bad earlier.

Not cool. I hope they are expediting getting the right ones to you.

Thanks, Calli. I have a couple of weeks to fret and then, hopefully the whining will be over.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LAURA!

Because books.

I hope they are expediting getting the right ones to you.

For $15. But I threw out my last pair of my old ones last night, so.

Good news about the surgery, by the way. And about it being outpatient -- pretty cool.

Our wings are not tired.

My home phone was specifically chosen to have a mute button.

I have to mute during conference calls because I can't resist typing, talking to people, etc while being bored to tears.

Good luck with the surgery, Suzi. Working arms are a good thing.

Not cool on sending the wrong contacts. Working eyes also a good thing.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Amy, what a PITA.

I am being productive, but it's making me more depressed. Stupid budgeting.

Because books.

I do have my glasses, it's just that they're old and the prescription is way off. I don't love driving in them anymore.

In better news, Thursday's Big Bang just made me laugh so hard I woke up the cat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did your doctor's office send the wrong prescription? Somehow it doesn't seem fair that you're out an extra $15 for proper eyes.

My engaged cousin has got me thinking about a new dress, except I have no idea what will be appropriate to wear to her wedding whenever she has it, and I've also gotten really attached to the idea of an outfit that I haven't actually seen anywhere. I want a dark red strapless dress, basically a sheath, knee length, with a sheer black cap sleeved blouse with black satin ribbon trim over it. If the dress was boned, that would be even better. You know, than the already non-existent dress in my head.

Dupioni silk would work. What's that website where you organise bits of an outfit together? Polyvore? Hmm. Maybe I'll use that as a working site.
