Did your doctor's office send the wrong prescription? Somehow it doesn't seem fair that you're out an extra $15 for proper eyes.
My engaged cousin has got me thinking about a new dress, except I have no idea what will be appropriate to wear to her wedding whenever she has it, and I've also gotten really attached to the idea of an outfit that I haven't actually seen anywhere. I want a dark red strapless dress, basically a sheath, knee length, with a sheer black cap sleeved blouse with black satin ribbon trim over it. If the dress was boned, that would be even better. You know, than the already non-existent dress in my head.
Dupioni silk would work. What's that website where you organise bits of an outfit together? Polyvore? Hmm. Maybe I'll use that as a working site.
I really need to see an eye doc and get my prescription updated. That will have to wait for post-surgery.
My co-pay for outpatient is only $50 (this is after a few years of having a crazy high deductible then having to pay 20%, $50 seems pretty small).
Happy birthday Laura!
In personal news, my cat Burrell is at the vet today after urping up bile yesterday. Prelim tests came back with very elevated liver enzymes and elevated white blood cells. But she's still eating well. I'm hoping whatever it is, she can be made a bit more comfortable.

Talk to amych! She made her corset out of dupioni silk.
Emmett's first baseball game is today. I hope he's got some energy left - they've been working them pretty hard at their training facility (it's called...the Bladium!)
Suzi, I am glad they're scheduling surgery for you even though I know outpatient can still be scary. I think you'll feel LOTS better after the surgery!!
Suzi,
have you had surgery before on a limb? The only thing I would like to say is make sure you do your exercises. They are very important. You don't seem to be the type to slack off on those, but do them as prescribed (and really not more often unless approved).
I am in an argument over birth control with some guy I don't know on a former coworker's facebook. I can't seem to walk away.
He keeps saying that Obama's "demanding that we pay for someone else's birth control." I think the we = taxpayers but I don't know.
But there's no cost to taxpayers with this. If your employer doesn't include birth control in the insurance package, the insurance picks up the cost.
I guess the insurance company could increase the price of something to offset the cost of birth control, but that's as far as it would go. Right?
ita !, I'm sure I've seen something very similar to the dress you described. Let me do some poking around the gothy fashion sites.

Well, I suppose in theory on Medicaid? But...cheaper than paying for anyone's pregnancy, which is why most insurance companies aren't really fighting this one.
