I went to Philly Lit Night (aka drinking with other writers) and then came home to family game night: Cranium, Uno, and Mad Libs. Now I want tea, cake, and BED.

ooh, cake! I want cake!
Zed Astaire is a great name for the kitty.
So I went to the grocery and pet stores! Overspent just a tad buying Mardi Gras supplies (beer, makings of GORP, slim jims, etc) but my phone bill won't withdraw until after my next paycheck, so it's okay(ish). Cashiers at both stores loved my necklace (similiar to this one [link], but mine has glitter and says "freak") and neither had heard of etsy.
What a pretty etsy store. I love the Alice in Wonderland one.
Zed Astaire is a great name!
Just had dinner with a friend and her gf. I like them both, but (a) I wish I got to see them more often (1.5 yrs in they're still doing the together all the time going out almost never thing), and (b) wish I ever saw my friend on her own (I like the gf fine, but...)
And now I have a date in an hour. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I always do, and then am terribly disappointed. Stupid OKCupid blind dates.
Yeah, I love her aesthetic. I also have this ring [link] from her.
I had the best dinner tonight: steak au poivre, potatoes, asparagus and sauteed mushrooms and prosecco to drink. I might be a little tipsy.
Today was Noah's first baseball practice: [link] I am so glad we did not sign Grace up.
About all I managed to accomplish this morning was taking a shower and watching last night's Supernatural. But this afternoon I got in 3 hours' work at the office, did my taxes while sitting with my dad, fixed dinner for him, and caught a brief nap. Then off to Lobsterfest for my own dinner where I got the cute waiter for a change, and then back home where I've done a little paper shredding and general picking up.
Oh! Months ago, I'd mentioned to a jeweler at the market (from whom I'd bought a pendant for my mom) that I was looking for silver dogwood blossom stuff for mom. It spiked her interest, and I've been told to check in for the next couple of weeks. She might not make it part of her line, just experiments, but OMG! How fucking cool is that?
Crap, now I can't stop surfing Etsy. Even though I almost never drink beer or anything in a can, I want these [link]

Right on!
I love the name Zed Astaire. Also, that rug is very similar to our living room rug.
