Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have written an essay, spent an hour on the phone with a client (who is VW's fiance, and he is delightful!) and created a phone log for biz calls, since my old one got corrupted -- and that means I can't deduct any of the calls I made in 2011, dammit. But, ah, well.

BTW, the essay is kinda about Buffistas, although the board name is NOT reffed, and neither are any names. But I want to post it in GWW so that y'all can vet it before I think about trying to pub it anywhere, and if people are uncomfortable with anything, I will change it or scrap it, ok?

Our wings are not tired.

I thought the name on the resume seemed familiar. Ha!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I washed dishes, emptied the dishwasher, folded clothes, hounded mac into doing his chores (lest he lose video game and tv time), found out that the dog had dug underneath the sense into neighbor's yard last week, tested what dog indoors is like (too big, too much, eats cat food), played fb games, did some TiVO dumping, and will shortly make some king cakes.

I also need to deposit some checks and vacuum. I got a $2 check in the mail this week from the NY lotto. I found an old scratch off ticket in my pies of paper crap and mailed it in. YAY silly money.

Did I mention that I got money from the new job already? direct deposit for my first week of work! ALmost the same as 2 weeks of work at the part time place (which makes sense, but this is with medical taken out and FSA taken out and and and MONEY!).

Rainy day, so I am pleased I've done anything.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Seabiscuit always eats the catfood at the SO's mom's place. We have to put it up on the dryer, or he'll eat the whole container, not just what's in the dish. And then be sick and look at us with sad dog eyes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have done excellent work cleaning off the DVR today.

Oh, and the place I've sold books most recently would give cash, but not very much, and slightly more store credit. So I feel pretty good walking in with a bunch of books and walking out with a couple.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I don't need very much cash, and probably what we're selling isn't worth anything. But every little bit helps at the moment for spending money. I may try the local Craigslist and if I don't have takers, I'll probably just give them to the library like usual.

Okay, I gotta go outside and shoot my bow some. It is a super gorgeous day.
