Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Adorable Sara.

No laundry done here, but I just reorganized 3 kitchen cabinets. Why do I have 4 strainers? I'm putting 3 in the garage and if I haven't used them in a couple of months, out they go.

In the process of messing with the cabinets, I really need to wash down ALL my cabinet drawers. I thought I was doing a good job, but looking at them from the floor, not so much.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have done All The Dishes, changed lightbulbs, emptied a moving box (nope, not unpacked yet) and put a bunch of boxes in my over-closet storage cabinets, paid bills, updated my budget, put away some clothes, and took a nap. I did *not* take advantage of the parade-less day to run errands, alas.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Here's a pull-down-from-the-wall drying rack that I'm wanting: [link] I like the original from Ballard, but the user-created knock-off looks just as useful.

Ooo, that's pretty awesome, Zen.

Man, so much geekery in one photoshopped image. And a weasel. [link]

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

No one told me we were having Productivity Three Day Weekend!

I went to town to get the mail, then back to the next town over to deposit the checks found therein, to the post office to mail stuff (yay!), to the gas station, to the grocery to inquire about marrow bones for the demi-glace, to the other bank for personal deposit, back past the original post office, to the mail store to drop off packaging materials recycling, then to two different bookstores to try to sell used books.

No one buys used books. Well, they do, but only for store credit. Which would be great normally, but I wanted vacation money. Where do you guys sell used books, if at all?

And then back home. And then I took the dog on a ride to the little store because I wanted mint tea.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It occurs to me that I had to go to two separate banks and two separate post offices for today's shenanigans and I should work on streamlining my lifestyle.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am now about to join the productive brigade and start grading. Have also taken stretch class, went grocery shopping, and made everyone lunch. Now for coffee and GRADING.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have written an essay, spent an hour on the phone with a client (who is VW's fiance, and he is delightful!) and created a phone log for biz calls, since my old one got corrupted -- and that means I can't deduct any of the calls I made in 2011, dammit. But, ah, well.

BTW, the essay is kinda about Buffistas, although the board name is NOT reffed, and neither are any names. But I want to post it in GWW so that y'all can vet it before I think about trying to pub it anywhere, and if people are uncomfortable with anything, I will change it or scrap it, ok?

Our wings are not tired.

I thought the name on the resume seemed familiar. Ha!
