All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That is the one.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ringer is not quite as much fun as I want it to be, but I keep hoping that it'll suddenly click and really embrace it's campy, cheesy soap opera soul. Did you see the Buffy punches Logan Echolls in the middle of a party scene? Because that was kind of great. Though not enough to justify that whole storyline, sadly.

Eta: oh, Pushing Daisies would be some excellent vacation TV

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay Zed cat! Also yay Copcar! CATS ALL AROUND.

Oh man, I did NOT see that scene (though I saved two eps and watched only one, maybe it's in the other ep).

Pushing Daisies is like, $10 for the first season, so I think I'll toss that in my cart along with Seasons 2 and 3 of Veronica Mars (I already have Season 1)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

-t yes, I saw that, and I was like "C'mon, REALLY kick his ass! I know you can do it!!"

I have done my taxes! 2 hours of being babystepped through Turbo tax.

Yay Zed! And Copcar! (And that's just a hilarious name for a city cat.) Loki went through several Z* names before Loki happened.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

smonster,

ultimately, I didn't care about any of the characters in FNL. I didn't care about the setting or the stakes. I recognize it is a good series, but it is not my bag.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay taxes! Turbo Tax is great. We finished ours, but won't file until the deadline to give us a little more time to save up the cash. However, even though it's still a pretty significant chunk of change, it's less than we were expecting, and we might be able to lower it even more if we can get enough dosh together to do IRAs.

information libertarian

At one point, Turbotax was saying our Federal return was going to be $7495. Unfortunately this turned out to be due to a decimal placement error; no, we did not pay $10,600 in Georgia taxes last year.

Also, I worked full-time except for 7 weeks out of work last year, and took home $23,000. Don't be an underemployed wanna-be librarian, people.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Woke up this morning, didn't get myself a gun, my back hurt so bad I could barely shower, couldn't have held a gun properly anyway.

Have now taken enough drugs that my back doesn't hurt anymore. 600 mg Advil, 1300 mg Tylenol, 5 mg Valium. Upside, can move; downside, don'wanna. The amount of drugs that make me able to function also make me unable to function. A different solution needs to be found.

Note, I am one of the apparently very few people who does in fact get kinda high from Tylenol. My mom did too. It took me a really long time to type this without mistakes.
