smonster,
ultimately, I didn't care about any of the characters in FNL. I didn't care about the setting or the stakes. I recognize it is a good series, but it is not my bag.

Yay taxes! Turbo Tax is great. We finished ours, but won't file until the deadline to give us a little more time to save up the cash. However, even though it's still a pretty significant chunk of change, it's less than we were expecting, and we might be able to lower it even more if we can get enough dosh together to do IRAs.
At one point, Turbotax was saying our Federal return was going to be $7495. Unfortunately this turned out to be due to a decimal placement error; no, we did not pay $10,600 in Georgia taxes last year.
Also, I worked full-time except for 7 weeks out of work last year, and took home $23,000. Don't be an underemployed wanna-be librarian, people.
Woke up this morning, didn't get myself a gun, my back hurt so bad I could barely shower, couldn't have held a gun properly anyway.
Have now taken enough drugs that my back doesn't hurt anymore. 600 mg Advil, 1300 mg Tylenol, 5 mg Valium. Upside, can move; downside, don'wanna. The amount of drugs that make me able to function also make me unable to function. A different solution needs to be found.
Note, I am one of the apparently very few people who does in fact get kinda high from Tylenol. My mom did too. It took me a really long time to type this without mistakes.
meara, don't know if it will be same in Mexico, but neither Netflix nor Hulu allowed me to stream when I was in Paris.
I was not a fan of S3 VM, but YMMV.

Good enough, just curious.
Glad Zed is making himself at home.
Zen, that sucks.
I haven't done this year's taxes but I did go to Staples for filing supplies and have successfully purged and organized the File Cabinet Of Doom. Nearly 15 years of random ass crap have now been either properly filed or thrown into what DH and I are calling the Giant Bag O' Identity Theft, which will be shredded and then recycled.
It turns out we had a lot of really important papers in there! And now I know where they are!
There were also an embarrassing number of printer test pages and empty envelopes.
I was all proud of myself for doing a load of laundry on the first day of a three-day weekend, but it turned out the dryer is broken. I had already put the detergent on my stuff (I have decided it is a waste to lug the jug up and down the stairs), so I just did it anyway. So now my house is adorned with lots of air-drying socks and underwear. But at least they are clean?
Ha Jessica, I need to do that too. Why do we keep the printer test pages? What wisdom do we hope to glean from them decades in the future?
Do I get points if I throw printer test pages out immediately?
Jesse, I always wanted those drying racks you pull down from the ceiling, like in Victorian kitchens. Not that our current ceiling is anywhere near high enough, but still.
Went to Sara's indoor soccer game, and man, she's so funny. Apparently she's not really supposed to be on the team because it's for nine- and ten-year-olds, and she just turned *eight* at the end of November, but she certainly makes up for it with enthusiasm. We were all cheering her getting the ball and dribbling it away toward the goal, and she must have heard us because she threw a smile and waved like the frigging queen while she was running. Two of the other moms cracked up.
