We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Also small for a GSD, but I realize I was about 5 the last time I saw one in person, so I may have a skewed sense of their size

Nope, you don't. She is certainly small for the breed, I think. She's about 58 lbs, and I've met male GSDs twice her weight. The breed standard doesn't have a weight limitation, but it does say that males should be only 26" at the shoulder.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

She's beee-you-teeful! And 58lb shouldn't be all that small for the breed, although it kind of is nowadays. Bitches should be 24-25", and neither sex should be heavy-boned like a Rott, either. They're meant to be able to stay constantly moving for 12-hour days and scale 6-foot walls and such! Not to be massive beasties, but over time they've gotten bigger and bigger -- it certainly is an impressive look.

Also, not particularly meant to be hardasses, even when they're working/protection dogs.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Such a lovely, soulful face.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wish him luck. Fox notwithstanding.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hey, even if Fox does that thing they do, it's still a leading role on a network show.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I saw that, and was all Go Colin! Poor guy. He has no idea who I am and I'm all YAY YOU!

BTW, thanks for reminding me, guys, that cleaning the fridge and prepping for taxes should also be a part of my weekend. JOY.

Hmm... Erin gives me an idea. But it probably wouldn't be helpful in the long run to send the scary stuff in the fridge off to the IRS.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Good luck, Colin! Work is good, Fox or no.

I'm suffering from "I don't want any of the things I could make with the food in my house" syndrome.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

amych, I think that'd count as terrorism

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm pretty sure my drive home tonight is going to include a stop at either the Mexican place or the Vietnamese place.
