Antibiotics won’t cure sinus infections
The antibiotics that doctors prescribe for sinus infections do not reduce symptoms any better than a placebo.

Well, yeah. Most sinus infections are not bacterial, according to the Mayo Clinic website.
Which is why I'm on steroids.
Hey! I resemble that remark!
It's not your *actual* name. Mine would have my *actual* name in it, and everyone would know it was my car. Only people who know one side of you can recognise you from your plate.
Come back to me when your plate is P_____ *_______ (no, the spaces don't match up to anything, at least not on purpose).
Is it CAS/ITA! you want for your plate, ita !? It is, isn't it?
I obviously need a better ship portmanteau name.
Burrell, has he had the experience of a kid telling him that they "do not want to be his friend anymore"? I am not sure mac got how serious the consequences could be until he was kicked out of afterschool programs thus losing playtime with his friends. As it is now, he realizes that because of behavior he cannot play at one friend's house (he never misbehaved there, but the parent heard about a flailing screaming meltdown at school) and we can't really consider vacations.

Y'know, while looking for places to stay on vacation, I did see a "Casita Serenada". So maybe it's FATE!
Arthur has a ton of episodes on various social issues, and a lot of resources online as well. Too bad the website is terrible! Here's their list of Social and Emotional Development resources, abut it doesn't actually link to the programs: [link] Episodes and clips are here: [link]

But when they are, and docs talk you out of meds, you are me. I love my ENT and his anti-Bs. I think part of the reason it took so long to kick this was the original doc's "let's just watch and wait" stance. Crap set up camp and sent out invites.

Not that I know of, or if he has, it was during a fight and they subsequently made up. But one day his actions will have lasting consequences. The irony is that my daughter has been told that, repeatedly, by one of her "best" friends. She breaks up with my daughter as a way to manipulate her behavior and control her if she starts playing with other girls. Oy!
Kids really have such complex emotional lives.

Secondary bacterial infections don't usually show up until 10 or so days into a viral infection, though. So prescribing antibiotics right away won't help unless the initial infection is bacterial, which in the case of sinus and ear infections it almost never is.
That how to be afriend book would probably be good for F too, then. I think it addresses that exact thing of manipulating friends.
The whole kids social skills section in the bookstore/library is fascinating.
