Ugh. Yesterday morning there was an accident involving a school bus and a dump truck in NJ, and one child was killed -- one of three triplets. I can't even imagine what her sisters must be going through. A couple other kids are still hospitalized, too.

I've already dropped the cat at the vet and had my blood drawn
I hope the cat is getting its claws trimmed.

Oh god, that's horrible.
I'm basically ignoring everything horrible, but will note that I have a regular magnet alphabet on my fridge, and having just one is kind of ridiculous, since you only have one of each letter. I can spell my cat's name, but not my own.

Heh.

The thing about the set I'm getting my sister--it's a full Scrabble set. 100 letters, plus special tiles.
I have this constant problem with my boss that she never sees - claims never to have received - my e-mails. And, like yesterday, I get a reproving e-mail along the lines of "are you done with that? I really need it soon" to which I can only reply, "I sent it to you two hours ago; here it is again".
Now, after I send her anything by e-mail, I have to schlep down to her office and - if she's in and not on the phone (which is about 10% of the time) - tell her I've sent her the information.

Yeah, what I meant to say was: That sounds awesome, and I hope other people don't make the same mistake I did!!
That does sound awesome.
Toddson, I would be looking for another job. When you tell her you've sent something, can she see the emails then?
Our neighbors told us about their swim club and suggested we join this summer. I looked it up and there's a $1000 initiation fee and it's $475 a year. A family membership at the city pool that's nearer, though probably not as nice? $65. How do people afford this shit? I mean, we're well off, but $1475 to go to a pool for the summer?
