Spike: Ladies. Come on in. Plenty of blood in the fridge, don't be shy. Dawn: You mean like, real blood? Spike: What do you think? Dawn: Mostly I think, 'Eew!'

Thrive to spite them

It is deliberate. They keep trying to frame this as a religious issue and that it's not about women. Just like when Santorum back pedaled on his comments that Griswold v Connecticut was a bad decision. He tried to claim it wasn't about birth control, it was about states rights.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have outrage fatigue.

Good grief, me too. I was getting the outrage back until the current ultrasound-dildo-rape and men-know-best outrages, and now I'm exhausted again.

I had the transvaginal ultrasound before I got my Mirena, and it made me cry. I can't deal with how terrible it would be for someone whose experience was worse than mine. And how those horrible people just don't care. Or else they want it to make a woman feel awful because how dare she?!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thank you Andy Borowitz:

"Remember, no matter how bad your life is, at least Rick Santorum isn't in the same room talking to you right now."

Coding and Sleeping

I can only hope this backfires on them. I want to weep for my country if it doesn't.

Reading The Hunger Games isn't helping with any of my outrage either. It may be time to take a break and catch up on Revenge.

Heh.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

RIP Gary Carter. Damn.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, they were right - it's not about women's health.

At least, notin the way we usually mean it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I saw someone captioning it, "casting agents for RL Handmaiden's Tale."

It definitely needs a mockery meme.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The outrage overload was not helped by the client who gives me no input or feedback except e-mailing me about something like a misspelled word. He seems to be trying to catch me somehow. Also, American Express rejected my Barnes and Noble charge of $0 for a free e-book.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh no. Gary Carter?? He was young!
