Well, I had a good day. I just decided to cut out the most difficult part of a big project, and with it gone we'll have a much easier time meeting our deadlines and keeping under budget.

I ended up telling the story of the stupid vendor to a co-worker who was working from home, and laughed myself into tears again. I'm still agog.

Well, we agreed to a big demolition project, but part of it is just physically tricky--hard to access, with a lot of environmental problems associated with it. And I realized that if we don't do that piece, we still accomplish the needs of the project, but we lose the trickiest planning problems and save money as well.
Damnit. I think I might have to go to the doctor tomorrow.

Things maybe I didn't need to know: I stopped at the Mexican grocery store that is directly on my way home, just to buy milk, and they have a taqueria in the store that smelled so awesome that I walked out with a burrito that was bigger than my head and tasted better than it smelled.
