Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh, Dana. Feel better, either way.

Things maybe I didn't need to know: I stopped at the Mexican grocery store that is directly on my way home, just to buy milk, and they have a taqueria in the store that smelled so awesome that I walked out with a burrito that was bigger than my head and tasted better than it smelled.

Also, they sell goat

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The result was a lot of "this is not official medical advice" but if your symptoms aren't better by tomorrow, you might want to call the doctor.

Oh, I hate that. Yeah, call the doctor.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Dana, ugh. But hopefully the doctor will be able to actually make it better.

And, holy crap. There was a rage-filled rager on National Catholic Reporter ranting about the lies of feminism and getting snarled at by lots of people and just getting rantier, but she just answered my one single post with thanks for my thoughtful and reasonable response, and asking if I could expand on any of the points I had raised.

Hec said, "Wow. You're the Conservative Whisperer."

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I finished The Hunger Games. B&N had a well timed coupon, so I bought the other two books today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know when the last time I read a series before that I was so glad I'd waited until the last book was out so I could smash right through them. No rewards in pacing yourself with Panem.

re: the Atlantic article

Yeah, the guy reversed his diabetes. And as it says, "It became his new job." I've got a job already.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

msbelle, how come you're a Duke fan? You didn't go there, right? (srs question, not snarking)
