The cats probably going insane because he sees your cats inside as it is. (Did I tell you about Oz puffing up on seeing construction people in the house next door. Territorial nutcase.) The dog and cat will work it out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How is that a problem? The dog will scare the cat away and keep it from leaving presents in your yard.

Not much of a problem, but I do need a dog that gets along with cats and won't go after them, so I have to hope neighbor's cat won't end up being too stupid/territorial to stay out of the yard.

And I do loathe the whole shell-game that goes on with the anti-marriage equality crowd. If a court requires it, it's "judicial activism"; if a legislature passes it, it's "against the will of the people", despite the fact that we live in a representative democracy.

Yes, and they firmly believe that the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states -- unless the states do something they don't like, like gay marriage. Then, suddenly, it's time to give the evil federal government more power.

My brother's dog chased cats, so the neighborhood cats would come and sit about 1ft away from the end of his leash.

Outside cats are generally smart enough to taunt from a safe distance.

This is also true!

I didn't mean that part of my post to come across as serious I guess it did--the whole thing made me laugh this morning.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Your dog is not going to lay a paw on that cat. Unless the cat is into that kind of thing.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I do not want a pinched nerve or carpal tunnel syndrome. I would much rather watch Lee's hypothetical dog and neighborhood cat work things out

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have outside pants on!

I haven't gone outside yet, but still.

Woot!

Beth, is that the diagnosis, or are we still hoping it's neither?
