P.S. Funded by a gang of gay billionaires, Obama's base is marching across the country, "occupying" major cities and shredding the historic definition of marriage as one man and one woman. They are everywhere, in every Christian community, from North Carolina to Utah. They already occupy Washington, D.C. Now, the anti-family lobby is salivating at the prospect for Obama's second-term; they are already drawing up plans to complete the deconstruction of our Judeo-Christian values which have formed the cornerstone of civilization.

I don't know why I find this so awesomely and entertainingly ignorant, rather than getting all aggravated. Must be the magic of the gay billionaires. Is there nothing they can't do?

Huh. Some of y'all know what I do (I don't say what it is on the board because it's really really niche and it would be pretty easy to identify me if I did), and for those who don't, let's just say I work for a public agency in an environmental capacity.

Much of what I do relates to historic preservation, so I'm familiar with a lot of folks in the industry, in non-profits, in business, and in government. Today I got a letter from a national non-profit, and they attached the descriptions of their board members.

And every single one of them was a man. In historic preservation, which at the field level is probably 55% female, and that preponderance of women goes all the way up to the federal regulators in Washington.

I'm kind of aghast.

my mother just sent an email to me linking to the urban dictionary definition of "Santorum."

You might find this definition of a word that is spelled like that of Rick Santorum rather fitting of this man who has spoken in such a vitriolic manner against our President. This definition has been circulating the internet at least since the beginning of the year.

What do I tell her? Do I provide her the history of this "definition?"

I lost my shit laughing over this. I can only imagine how horrified my mother was to read the definition.

That's kind of horrifying, but not that surprising to me. (Yes, I can be horrified and still not surprised. Have been beaten down by The Man.)
