So long as you don't claim that the lurkers support you in email, or that they're interrogating the text from the wrong perspective, I think you're okay.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Random information for the evening... if you leave the space out of "got it" autocorrect changes it to "forbid".

Yeah, P-C, unfortunately I discovered that when I used the phrase "epic fail" a few years ago and a coworker got super offended.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Forbid.

It's working its way up to "exterminate."

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Catholics do not have a deep moral objection to contraception.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Related to that, with all the hubbub over the requirement to cover birth control in health plans, I learned yesterday that it is actually the law already in like 28 states. So all the sky is falling outrage from the church - they're already doing it all over the place.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Something like 97% of American Catholic women use birth control. That horse doesn't even remember where the barn was.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think it is kind of weird that there are no references/worries about Santorum's Catholicism and Romney's Mormonism. I don't know whether we have come so far that it is a non-issue, or that some Republicans are so worried by a black man as president that other prejudices have gone out the window.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sophia,

Romney's Mormonism is a bigger deal than the GOP establishment would like to admit. In the summer/fall there were reports that, particularly in southern states, the evangelicals did not trust Romney at all due to his faith.

I'm not sure where Santorum comes in because he's been a non-entity long enough that this question hasn't been raised.
