Virtual brownies ones are the best kind for me these days.
So I am trying to figure out balancing DH's basketball tournament, my brother's birthday (5 hour round trip away), and the big football game this weekend. Right now I figure to watch the boys in their semi-final tonight, run cross state tomorrow for the birthday party and miss the boys' final, then run back for the football Sunday. Somewhere in there would be the chores and work commitments. I don't think there will be any reading for pleasure in the mix. Boo. Maybe a swim or two.

Someone upthread asked about statutes of limitations w/rt Hec's parking ticket. Sadly, I think statutes only apply if you were never charged with something. Like, if I kicked my brother in 1977, but nobody ever went to the police, the statute of limitations on assault has passed.
Here, Hec got a parking ticket so he was actually charged, so the statute doesn't apply. Which totally bites.
I also think it's weird that the State is going after money you presumably owed to the town of Inglewood. That's odd.
FPC: This is the first Friday I've worked in a month, and the first full week I've worked since before Thanksgiving. I'm not loving it.
And I forgot to take an Aleve this morning, and I can already feel my sinuses complaining. Bah.
