This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, this is awesome. I may have to fire my best friend at work next eek. Actually fire - not being cutesy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, no, brenda! Meep.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh bleh, brenda. BLEH.

We are expecting 14-26 inches of snow over the next 24 hours. Glad I don't have to go anywhere.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Casita and bathhouse sounds lovely. Unless you are definitely sure you'd want to be in the hottub every night. Even then, with the dog and everything else, I still vote casita.

Yikes, brenda. That sounds terrible.

I thought about taking myself out for a drink tonight, but decided to come home and make mac and cheese instead.

Yeah. Ugh. I don't know for sure, but signs are pointing that way. I already knew she was losing her bonus for the year, but things have...escalated.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, no, brenda. And you mean "fire" not "lay off," right? Because both situations would well and truly suck but having to fire for cause? Holy hell. That's just crap.

Because books.

Ugh, brenda. That's awful.

Suzi, it's time to bake.

Punishingly Intricate

oh, Brenda, that's horrible.

I think the thing with moving the water bowl is actually cats doing the scratch around the water hole thing wild cats do? Maybe to mark it as their territory? (Bullshit Zoologist!) Uncle Bud has done it since he was a kitten. The bowls are on mats and are heavy ceramic so he can't drag them far now at least.

I have to go walk my friend's big lab in a bit and really I just want to sit on the couch. She's a sweetie though and will be REALLY happy to see me.

hip deep in pie

Oh god, Brenda, that's so tough.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh that's terrible, brenda.

So it snowed, and I ran around like mad, gathering kindling, refilling the birdfeeders, getting an archery session in...and now it's stopped. I guess it remembered it wasn't in the forecast? Oh well, I have a nice warm fire anyway.
