Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got sneakernetted. Like, the enterprise architect walked up to me and handed me a note. A page and a half, handwritten, on a stenographer pad. I expressed consternation at receiving it, which suggested I could take care of by taking a photograph. I somehow have to manage to not lose it before the meeting tomorrow morning.

Maybe I should take a picture. I'm bothered by the compulsion I will no doubt feel to edit all the content into one image file, though. That's a little bonkers.

I just got sneakernetted.

...what does that mean??

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think of it as using a human being as a link in your digital communication network. Like if you can't get a file from one computer to another over the intranet so you put it on a thumb drive and have someone take that over to the destination.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Is it weird that I sort of want to introduce an old friend from grad school who teaches at Tulane to our NO Buffistas?

I'm cool with it. Could you do a fb message with both of us? I've done that a number of times.

Uh. There was more but I lost it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wetware links are so unreliable.

The cat tree is here! It smells funny. Outgassing from the new carpet, I'm sure. Leo has been sacked out for hours in the very top bunk, probably high on fumes. When I go by he looks at me sleepily and thinks, "I am taller than you!" Percy the Emo Cat is suspicious of the new thing, but I bet pretty soon he'll be on it too. He better; I didn't buy the damn expensive thing for just one cat to sleep on. shakes fist at cat

The delivery guy not only did not bring it inside, he didn't even wait for the tip I was going to give him. He parked this huge 6-foot-plus package on my porch, said he was in a hurry, and left. Well. So I ripped off the cardboard and wrestled the thing inside myself. So there. Didn't need help after all. iamwomanhearmeroar

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It should not be in the upper 60s on Feb. 1 in Maryland. That just seems wrong to me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It should not be in the upper 60s on Feb. 1 in Maryland. That just seems wrong to me.

It sounds like heaven to me.

Thrive to spite them

It was raining today. Instead of snowing.

My town postponed the Winter Carnival until first weekend in March, hoping there will be snow then. The Parks and Rec dept has had to cancel all the winter activities because there's nothing.

Yup, -t got it in one. Apparently he started writing it out, and decided that retyping it wasn't efficient, so he just walked a handwritten message to me instead.

I'm used to hand-drawn. Luckily his handwriting, well, it's kinda pretty actually.
