My GP recommended hot salt water gargles, every three hours or however often you felt the need. Salt is antiseptic and also soothing--I'm not sure hydrogen peroxide would soothe, although it's definitely antiseptic.
Those DA actors are amazingly different out of character. Sioban is almost unrecognizable.

Weird, I had the exact opposite reaction. I think they all look much curvier - the DA costumes don't emphasize figure the way modern clothes do. Suddenly everyone has boobs!

Woke up this morning and not feeling so bad. No fever. Throat's only a little raw. Not swollen, not getting worse. I have been doing a lot of salt water gargles this week, so hopefully that helped stave things off.
My fever last night came on quick, shot up to 99.9 and then promptly dropped back to normal again. I'm going to think of the fever as a carefully coordinated aerial strike called in by the white blood cells.

Boiler company says they might have the parts we need to replace the broken valves by this afternoon, and if not we'll have to wait until Monday.
