I'm excited for sarameg to go on a booty expedition business trip!

Look at McCain sitting there smiling like the Pope. He's drugged, isn't he?
It's work. I'll be on my best behavior, to the point of paranoia. I keep my work and personal life pretty well separated. Hell, I've discovered recently several coworkers, who I've known almost 15 years, assumed I was married or otherwise partnered. Uh, what? Don't I joke about my cat-problem enough?

Or possibly taxidermied.
Bets on how long before Joe Biden falls asleep?

Yeah, that's funny. Partnered people assuming same, without other information?
Is Boehner tweeting?
Odd thing is what I do allow to filter through. Anyone paying attention knows about my parents and brother, SIL and nephews. Hey, that's vacations, there's no avoiding the field's connections and I'm rather really proud to tout their accomplishments to any damn one. They know about the cats, the house. But any local social life (or romantic life, lack thereof) they know very little about.
Yay Spain!
At my work, I discovered that people thought I was ten years younger than am, partially because I am not partnered.
Spain!! And I'm all excited that my work is sending me to NY for a couple of days.
Sophia, I LOVE a big salad for lunch. That sucks that your cafeteria is failing at making them now. I go through periods where I'm really good about bringing them to work. To me they are just as easy, if not easier, to put together than a sandwich because you can do so much (boil a bunch of eggs, cut up a bunch of veggies, make salad dressing) ahead of time. But I need to get into a rhythm of putting them together.
Today was kind of from hell at work. Things are blowing up and I'm not sure my team could have done anything to prevent it but I have a feeling we'll be blamed for not preventing it. ugh
