I've taken to using straight jojoba oil on my face, hands, hair, whatever.

I've been using coconut oil as a body moisturizer in the shower. It's awesome.

I use baby oil in the shower and it is chea and keeps my very dry skin super-smooth and non-cracked. I use an under-eye cream at night--whatever has retinol and is on sale at CVS, basically. Tinted moisturizer during the day.

I know when I'm downloading someone's IP that it could go away any time now, and I'm not really asking for general sympathy in the case of its loss.

I have no one true cosmetic except Dr Bronner's peppermint soap, but I'll note for people with dry skin that my mother has beautiful skin at 85, after more than 50 years of using Ar-Ex moisturizers [link]

I need a cheaper makeup remover. All I use it for is taking off the adhesive from the bandages from the IV. Total waste of Clinique, but it's the most effective thing I have in the house right now.

Yeah. I mean, it's kind of stupid that there's no way to access stuff worldwide legally when it's released, but I do at least recognize the implications of what I'm doing when I ahem. I'm fairly judicious, for the most part.

I swear, I've read more people complaining about a loss of access to copyrighted materials than complaining about the loss of a tool for legal filesharing (and most of the legal complaints were here).

I pick up Jojoba oil at Trader Joe's sometimes - a little bottle lasts me a long time so I haven't done it recently, but it seems to me they had a nice low price.

Eta: but when I look at the bottle I have now, it's Desert Essence.
