I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I thought Keira Knightley was really charming in that movie. Before she got all famous and shit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah...it was really charming through and through. I love seeing Archie play a traditional Indian, with the dancing and the glayvin. It's so unlike Kalinda.

(Postit-patching post): I ran my eye into a dead, pokey plant in the dark. Corneal abrasions hurt like fuck. I am reminded I am not being a total wuss by my dad (who had a lot of sympathy and advice for me) because when I was 2? I kicked him in the eye and left a bit of toenail in there. In a campground. At night. Stuff of legends, all right. His was also deemed a minor corneal abrasion after they took the toenail out. And told me I'd be lucky if I felt back at 100% in 3 days as the dr suggested. It took him longer

I was told specifically that for this level of injury to not patch, except during sleep if I wanted to, for comfort Just that, as fucking painful as it is, the blinking is good, the irritation actually promotes eyeball healing as it flushes shit and giggles. Or something like that.

No bad blinks in the past hour=good.

eta: new criteria for borrowing movies. No crying. That makes this worse.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

THAT'S where I know her from!

I loved the extras n that move wth the director and her mother and aunt cooking and bickering. So cute, and I learned a little bt about making Indan food.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Going from Bend It Like Beckham to Angry Boys is a hell of an ice cream headache of rapid context switching.

Having the cheesecake from Rock Sugar. It's very rich, but still kinda light. Not fluffy--light in a flannish way.

I have to say, Rock Sugar related, I like it when waiters really know the menu well, and are able to give what feels like detailed information and opinions about any dish you mention. And the waitress had the decency to be polite to me when I kinda called her out on calling everything we ordered "perfect!" by telling us her least favourite dish on the menu.
