Perfectly acceptable. I have spent quality time looking things up for a throwaway joke. Sometimes the lion's share of the research I do doesn't even make it into the story, but it informs the plot and characterization.
Post-its have a new purpose: blinder so I can briefly read.

man, I really do not like NE. The Ravens were the only team I wanted to make it to the Superbowl this year. Not sure when the last time I cared less about a Superbowl.
I am making labels for files, and am filing the numerous piles of household papers. SO EXCITING...not.
I honestly don't care about this game either, cause I don't like either team and am bitter at both this season, sooooo, I think a movie instead.
