Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the others sound kind of gross and possibly dangerous

What's dangerous about the milkshake?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Funny things about that picture:

1. Grace looks like a maniac.

2. She's trying to push Noah back and he's trying to mug forward.

3. He has a scarf on because it was mitten and scarf day for their "snowball fight."

4. The hook Grace is wearing was my Christmas exchange from work. No. Seriously.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

At least I haven't passed out yet. That's my ultimate stupid human trick.

Emmett passed out last week. He'd been flopping on the couch all day, stood up, stretched and said, "Whoa! Head rush!" and then I heard a thump and he was on the floor saying, "What happened? Why am I down here?"

It's a not uncommon thing to happen with teenagers, but it was still odd and he kept laughing about it and saying, "I don't remember it happening?"

"Right," I would reply, "because of the unconsciousness."

You can see the competition when you notice Noah's grip on Grace's arm.

I know! They are nutty.

Is it weird that I think, "I'm glad Newt won. Because at least it wasn't Santorum."

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That photo is too funny. I like the idea of soda jerk as mixologist, and I like the idea of fancy shmancy ice cream treats. We have a fancy shmancy new ice cream store in our neighborhood and I loves it.

Weird no, disheartening, yes. I can't imagine how I'd feel about it if I were Republican. I'd be even angrier than I already am.

I have such a visceral dislike for Newt. As in, why can't everyone see through him? It's all about him. He doesn't really give a shit about anything except him. He doesn't believe in anything except what sounds good and gets him attention. No principles, just what gets him the limelight. He really believes what he believes at that moment only, when it is convenient for him. He's the epitome of mob mentality, just a mob of one. FUCK YEAH I"M AWESOME!!!

He scares me a little more than even a true-believer in something I find an anathema.

Right? It's literally on the way home from Matilda's school so we can stop by and get treats on hot days.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I believe I've been clear about my feelings towards Newt. Intellectually, I can see that his win may help Obama, but the idea that anyone would vote for him for anything except Mr Toxic Waste makes me ill.
