Thanks for passing on the news about Stephanie, amych. I've been thinking about her.

I did go out to a yoga class and picked up some pants I had hemmed but, man, am I lazy today! I should at least go take a shower, I guess.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for the fridge that fits! I take it the washer and dryer fit okay, also? And which room is Dita's?

Thank you for earworming me with the Michelob jingle, Erin!

It's icy here and my kids are watching bad anime cartoons. Blah.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I take it the washer and dryer fit okay, also?

They do! They couldn't install the dryer fully, but Martin's business partner is going to take care of that.

Alarm system is place, even though it is currently deactivated.

I think I am going to eat lunch and then nap and then maybe unpack a little.

And which room is Dita's?

The small bedroom in back, which is going to be my work room.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

An ecologically-minded teenager on my television just claimed that tap water is "cleaner and healthier for you than store-bought water."

Isn't that...lies?

(He followed it up with "Also, it's a lot cheaper." Which is not lies.)

Yay moved in Lee!

I don't understand why I have been super super sleepy the past couple days. I've been getting plenty of sleep, but when the alarm went off this morning, I reset it three times! And I was kind of expecting I'd wake up before the alarm, since I set it for very late, and until the past couple days I'd been waking up pretty early. Weird.

Went and did my free trainer session that came with joining the new gym...got suckered into buying a whole bunch of trainer sessions, but am not going to start them for a few weeks.

I need to run some errands now that the snow has mostly melted (donate big pile of clothes to Goodwill, take things to the dry cleaner, get pants hemmed, there was something I was going to buy at the mall but I can't remember what, get a pedicure?). But I also need to clean the house. Roommate gets home later today, and it's a pit in here (granted, a little bit her fault, but mostly mine)

Isn't that...lies?

Not necessarily. There have been some studies recently about that: turns out that bottled water often has impurities in it, including offgases from the bottles it's stored in. And depending on the source, public water can be very good indeed.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY LEE!

I am motivated to do some cleaning because my mom will be back over on Monday and I want her to see visible progress. thus far, all I have managed is shredding some paper and telling myself over and over what needs to be done.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

In some cases store bought water actually IS tap water, so which is healthier may depend on the quality of tap water where you are versus where it's bottled. But the tales of store-bought plastic bottles leaching dioxins into their contents are just urban legends (though there may be cause for concern about the rigid BPA plastics used to make some bottles intended for re-use).
