Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Punishingly Intricate

I think you made it private, Jesse.

Even though I was kind of a girly kid (not frilly dress girly but I did love dolls) I really thought being a tomboy was cool so I loved it the couple of times I was mistaken for a boy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would cut someone for a pot pie right now. Walked home three or so miles from work (UPHILL! IN THE SNOW! FOR REALS) and then dog park. Tired now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hmm. It says friends can see it.... Oh good lord, apparently I have everyone listed as a "contact," not a "friend." I'll just make it public for a while. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was mistaken for a guy up through my thirties. Nothing my parents would have cared to engineer. They're so...traditional.

My father asked me to put aside...something...either my passion for martial arts or computers...this last vacation, and answer his question "as a woman". Even my mother dug that I wasn't even going to entertain that shit.

That having been said, I asked a cousin when her FTM sibling's birthday was. I think it was the first time I'd used the phrase "your brother" to her. It was weird. And then suddenly, quite normal.

Heehee!

I want to snap out of this blah mood I've been entertaining the past month. Even my swims are not helping. I know it is the winter doldrums, I just don't like it.
