I had a leftover mashed potatoes so I was going to make (veggie) shepherd's pie. By the time I got done it was more like a chili pie. That's a thing, right?
Sounds good to me.
We had leftovers for dinner too. A little bit of everything from the last couple of days.
When I was home over Christmas my sister and I looked through our old photo albums, and there are all these great pictures of me in corduroys and matching vest, with my hands in my pockets all, "I know I'm cool, yeah." I'm pretty sure I still take pictures with my hands in my pockets like that.
I also had leftovers for dinner. Black-eyed peas and kale (cooked with tomato sauce, hot sauce, and a little liquid smoke) and mashed sweet potatoes and apples with ginger and cinnamon. And now I'm contemplating baking something, but I think that's mostly because turning the oven on will make it a bit warmer in here.
OK, I couldn't resist putting this on Flickr, but I made it friends-only, since there are so many other people in the picture. [link] I'm jesse4nyc on there.
I think you made it private, Jesse.
Even though I was kind of a girly kid (not frilly dress girly but I did love dolls) I really thought being a tomboy was cool so I loved it the couple of times I was mistaken for a boy.
I would cut someone for a pot pie right now. Walked home three or so miles from work (UPHILL! IN THE SNOW! FOR REALS) and then dog park. Tired now.
Hmm. It says friends can see it.... Oh good lord, apparently I have everyone listed as a "contact," not a "friend." I'll just make it public for a while. [link]
That is some quality hair.
I love every single thing about that picture. The people are, left to right, other kid, my dad, my mom, me, other mom.
