'suela, is that contagious??? And I am sorry to hear that you and Sox have similar maladies. I sure hope you didn't trade them off last year at my house.

No, to both. I've been struggling with sinus issues for a couple of years, it's just that the current level of annoyance just flared back up into ick. I'd just gotten over a bout before Christmas, too, and now I'm back on Aleve D.

Gonna text my brother and make him write the script he promised at Christmas and then forgot about.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Sheryl!

Allyson, in the swatches beneath the picture the red looks closer to burgundy than true red. I can't tell which is the more reliable representation.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oops. My sister asked me about race-blindness in TV, and I said I didn't have a wide range of things to talk about. And then I gave her the demographics of 18 shows, and their tendency to mention race and how it's dealt with.

I could do with another hobby.

I'll tell my mother to relax, relax, hydrate, eat properly, and listen to her docs. And not to get mad if she ends up having to spend the money.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This can't do anything other than succeed, big time, can it:

CBS has greenlighted two new pilots, with one of them being a revamp that will place the legendary sleuth in modern-day New York. (Perhaps, while he's there, he can solve the Mystery of Why the Rent Is Too Damn High.)

The pilot, currently titled "Elementary," comes via CBS Television Studios and Timberman-Beverly Productions, the company behind the network's current series "A Gifted Man" and "Unforgettable." Robert Doherty, whose credits include "Medium" and "Ringer" will write the pilot and executive-produce. Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will also executive-produce.

No other option...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The pilot, currently titled "Elementary,"

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, msbelle!

Why doesn't CBS just cut up the first two seasons of Sherlock into a miniseries? I'd watch, especially if S2 aired before May.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Congrats msbelle!

Fingers crossed that all goes well with your mom's chemo situation, ita.

I got a new mattress pad, sheet set, and dust ruffle to fit it, but think I'd like to get a new cover: [link]

It says burgundy red, but that looks like a bright red on my screen. Anyone? I'm looking for a bright lipstick red.

Maybe these would be helpful, Allyson? [link]

I think I just had a visual migraine or I somehow hyperventilated myself (it hit on the walk home from the pool.) My nurse friend didn't think I was gonna die (she's a CCU nurse who has hauled neighbors to the ER cause symptoms alarm her, so I trust her.) But it was weird. I think I'm going to avoid the sudafed for now. It's been doing weird things to my breathing, so I'm suspicious that it + a sneezing fit may have triggered something. Migraine or hyperventilation. Or both.

I do not like.
