Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Zen for UK!! That's very cool!

Yay, msbelle!!!!!

Interesting article on the clitoris. That does explain some things. I love this comment on it:

a woman is like a tardis, all is bigger in the inside than the outside. that. is. so. cool. make sense if you think about it

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Excellent, msbelle! Hopefully this is a great belated birthday gift.

The triage nurse this morning was "But today isn't Sunday!" I explained I come in on the last day of my weekend, and he nodded sagely. I told this to the nurse who was treating me, and she said "Oh! Someone was saying you weren't in yesterday, and I told them you probably had Monday off and would come in now instead."

I need to take a note in for absences *from* the doctors now?

I'm pretty sure the guards at the pool will ask me where I was today (I cheated on them with the Parkville Y.) Horrid, horrid times. Sigh.

So I went and bought shoes.

Damnit, I forgot to congratulate you, msbelle!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hate being lied to like I'm stupid.

I have an app I can use to call a cab, and in it you can put a brief note to the taxi driver. So, since I need to be picked up from the ER entrance off a different street than the main entrance (despite them sharing an address), I put that note in. Every time. Nice and brief, indicating it's the ER, and it's off Charles E Young, not the main entrance.

One time in four, the taxi driver goes to the wrong place. I can tell this BECAUSE I HAVE A MAP WITH HIS LOCATION ON IT. Do they believe me when I call in and tell them "I've been getting the automated 'come out to the curb' message, and the cab isn't here, it's waiting at the other entrance."? No, usually not. There are lots of excuses about how he'll be there *soon*, and he's on his way (he's been stationary for the last 5 minutes) and how that other line must be the dispatcher calling me (I have caller ID. I know the automated number, and that's not it).

I'm not that much of an idiot. And when the cab finally came today, I asked him if he'd been to the wrong place, and he said no, he's been driving around the right entrance for 15 minutes. I HAVE A MAP WITH HIM ON IT. I've also been outside the right entrance for half an hour, and he's the second taxi driver they've dispatched this morning, and no, that's not what happened.

At least he had the grace to change the topic stat.
