And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just learnt what a tontine is. Excellent! A brilliant setup for killing everyone around you. I'm trying to work out if I read about/seen tontine-like scenarios in fiction, and how much you can play with it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Definitely in Archer, and I'm sure I've read about them elsewhere, but I do enjoy old detective stories.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just learnt what a tontine is.

Have you watched the Archer episode "Double Deuce"?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Damn, that was a big hit.

Takeaways are the 49ers only chance, but they can't march it downfield like Brees just did.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

They're saying Pierre Thomas was knocked out. Not good.

SACK! Couldn't recover the damn fumble, though.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I learned about tontines from Barney Miller when I was pretty young. It makes me feel smart every time I am having them explained to me in a new fictional setting, because they do make for fun times in murder mysteries.

This is not a relaxing game, btw, so my "it's the playoffs, I'm chill" theory must not be right. Too bad.
