Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I mean, she's probably totally fine and I will feel silly for worrying, but it's been a while, and she usually posts a fair amount. Does anyone have an email address for her? Or I could look back for one of her posts and try to find her profile address.

Yeah, I just emailed her again. She posted at one point in like a drive-by, but never responded to my follow-ups.

OK, so she might just be busy. Edit: Thanks for emailing her again, msbelle!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I just emailed her too. msbelle, did you use the comcast or her work addy? If we don't hear anything, I can try her work address.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But now I can walk at the community center instead! Very exciting.

Cool! We live across from Kezar Stadium which has (a) a rubberized track which is easy on joints and; (b) a bank of lights so lots of people walk/run there in the evening during the winter and it's safe and convenient.

I used the comcast one. I hope it's still good.

Ooh, that would be super convenient David! I ran around a local lake on a trail on the weekend, but it's not lit at night and with the short days...well, this is why I joined the new closer gym. Though I'm not sure when I can run again--my shins are still super painful (though at least unlike yesterday my calves are not joining in the chorus). I'm not sure I cn do this running thing. Sigh.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

my shins are still super painful

If you develop shin splints, they take a looooong time to heal. So don't push it too hard.
